Rachel Rogier

Rachel Rogier is the Lead Federal Affairs Representative for Arch Resources. A West Virginia native, she has over 10 years of experience in the mining industry while working for Arch Resources and its federal advocacy efforts based in Washington, DC. 

Beyond educating state and federal government officials on the domestic and international importance of coal mining, she has built up considerable policy experience working on regulatory issues, federal lands policies, transportation and export issues, and mine permitting on the state and federal levels. Recently she has dived into the world of ESG (environmental, social, and governance) report frameworks to help translate the exceptional work done by Arch Resources’ mining operations and satisfy the needs of investors, customers, and regulators.

She also serves as a Board Member of the Washington Coal Club, a non-profit that hosts regular informational lunches on topics impacting the coal industry in Washington, DC.
