Carolyn Loder Induction to the
National Mining Hall of Fame

Carolyn Loder

Ruth Carraher  The Women's Mining Coalition (WMC) is excited and very proud to
recognize and congratulate Carolyn Loder as one of five Class of 2023 National Mining Hall of Fame inductees. Carolyn is a member of the WMC Board of Directors and the "First Modern Living Woman" to receive this recognition.

Among her many accomplishments, "she spent a decade initiating a landmark land exchange among two federally recognized Tribes in New Mexico and the U.S. Bureau of Land Management which resulted in the resolution of a 400-year tribal land dispute this allowing mining on tribal lands. She received awards from the Tribe and the industry for her innovative, transparent, and fair approach to her work."

We are honored to have Carolyn helping to guide WMC with her extensive expertise and knowledge as we strive to meet our mission of advocacy for our domestic mining industry.

"Since 1987, the National Mining Hall of Fame and Museum, located in Leadville, CO has been a national monument to the men and women who< champion the discovery, development, and processing of our nation’s natural resources, as well as a national institution educating the public about the undeniable relationship of mining to our daily lives." (National Mining Hall of Fame)

Carolyn will be honored at the 2023 Mining Hall of Fame Banquet to be held on October 28, 2023 in Aurora Colorado.
