Wanda Burget has multiple decades of experience in environmental project management. Wanda's specialties include mineral leasing, permitting and mine closure; due diligence investigations; air emission and greenhouse gas inventory, control strategies, and permitting; regulatory and government policy; community relations and sustainable natural resource development.

Her years leading and promoting environmental stewardship, sustainable development, project management, community outreach and stakeholder relations have provided her a substantial portfolio of experience and industry knowledge - not only within the mining industry, but with the energy and agricultural industries as well. She has a solid record of effective engagement in industry, stakeholder and community issues and has been entrusted with positions of leadership and responsibility in numerous local, state, regional and national workgroups and coalitions comprising a broad and diverse cross-section of stakeholders.

Wanda is the owner and principal of Accord Resource Solutions, LLC, a natural resource-focused independent consultancy based in Wyoming. She is an inaugural board member of the Thunder Basin Grasslands Prairie Ecosystem Association (TBGPEA) which manages a large landscape-scale conservation effort created to benefit eight prairie species including the Greater sage-grouse. TBGPEA was formed in 2000 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit created through a partnership of the agricultural and coal mining industries in northeastern Wyoming. She is a county elected official, serving as the Treasurer of the Crook County (WY) Natural Resource District and was appointed to the Wyoming Energy Authority by WY Governor Mark Gordon and is currently the Vice Chairman. Wanda is a past member of the Women’s Mining Coalition Board of Directors, including past President and Manager of the organization.

Prior to starting her consultancy, Wanda was the Vice President of Environmental Services for Norwest Corporation based in Salt Lake City, Utah for 3 years and worked for Peabody Energy Corporation for 29 years. Her responsibilities with Peabody included Director, Sustainable Development for Peabody's U.S. operations and managing permitting and environmental compliance for four major surface mining operations in Wyoming. She was also the environmental lead for Peabody's federal coal leasing efforts and a member of Peabody's international project support team.
